Unity in Creek
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of partnering to create art with Unity Phelan, the principal dancer with the esteemed New York City Ballet. She is undoubtedly one of the most gifted and talented dancers in the vibrant arts scene of New York. Our artistic collaboration first began when we started making pictures together at the International Dance Festival in Vail, Colorado. In this particular image, Unity was game to pose in a freezing cold water creek to make this incredible angle possible. I found a bridge where I could shoot straight down over her. This image was exhibited in a pop up exhibition in Vail in 2016 showcasing a selection of my dance related work.
