ARCHES® Aquarelle is recognised by artists as one of the most prestigious watercolour papers with a history that spans many centuries. ARCHES® master papermakers have been producing very high-quality fine art papers since 1492, and today ARCHES® is the only paper mill in France using a traditional cylinder mould process for all its papers, including ARCHES® Aquarelle Rag. Using the traditional watercolour base, the paper has an even natural grain and a felt-marked finish. ARCHES® Aquarelle Rag is manufactured using 100% cotton which contributes to the paper’s natural beauty and feel. The pure white base does not contain any optical brightening agents (OBAs).
The unique inkjet receiving layer produces prints with superb colour rendition, deep blacks and pure whites offering photographers, artists and printmakers the opportunity to create images with superb tonal range, excellent highlights and mid-tones. Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Pearl is a pure cotton paper with an inkjet coating that has been optimised for FineArt applications. The natural white artists’ paper contains no optical brighteners and is characterised by its warm shade of white. The delicately defined, even surface texture gives the paper a lovely soft feel and the print a stunning sense of depth. In combination with the pearl-gloss premium inkjet coating, it produces outstanding FineArt prints with exceptional reproduction of colour and detail, deep blacks and beautiful contrasts. Canson® Infinity Platine Fibre Rag is the combination of the premium 100% cotton Platinum paper that Canson has supplied for many years to the original Platinum and Platine photographic market, with the latest microporous coating, making the traditional darkroom paper now available for your digital printing.

Setting the benchmark for Digital Darkroom papers, Platine Fibre Rag provides the aesthetic and feel of the original F-Type Baryta Fibre paper, having a true pure white tone without using optical brighteners that are known to affect the longevity of digitally produced images.

Platine Fibre Rag’s extremely high Dmax and exceptional grey tones make it the product of choice for the more discerning black and white as well as colour photographic prints.
